At McNeil, we believe in the power of giving to make a difference in the world. As a leading consumer healthcare company, we consider it part of our corporate social responsibility to contribute to charitable causes that work to help people lead healthier lives, educate future generations, and become leaders in healthcare.
Our values guide our charitable giving. In administering our philanthropy program, we are committed to offering charitable contributions to nonprofit organizations that are making a positive impact for the people who use our medicines. We also encourage our employees to live our values every day - in and out of the office - by participating in volunteer activities and supporting our involvement in our local communities.
For over 20 years, the TYLENOL® Future Care Scholarship Program has been supporting students in their pursuit of healthcare-related education. Since we believe people are the future of healthcare, we award a total of $250,000 in scholarships each year. Winners receive awards of $5,000 or $10,000. For more information, please visit Tylenol.com or our Facebook page.
The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation (TLLCCF) supports early child care and education programs by empowering early child care teachers with the resources and recognition they deserve. McNeil, as the makers of Children's TYLENOL®, has been the primary sponsor for the Terri Lynne Lokoff National Child Care Teacher Awards™ sponsored by Children's TYLENOL® for 11 consecutive years. The annual event honors 50 early child care teachers from around the country with $1,000 grants to reward their dedication to early child development and enhance their children's classroom experiences. McNeil began to financially support the program in 2001, when it grew statewide and regionally. In 2003, the award program went national. For more information, visit the TLLCCF website.
